Fuck! It's been almost 3 weeks since I lost my internet and I haven't had a chance to really post much up here. Hopefully by this weekend, I'll be hooked back up! In the meantime, everyone should know that in 2 weeks BELGRADO (Spain) and BELLICOSE MINDS (Pdx) will be touring the West Coast and they will be having 3, count em, 3 shows in So Cal! That's fuckin' great! The first one will be in San Pedro (on Nov. 8) at Harolds place w/ MANIA. Then Nov. 10 in Costa Mesa at The Wizards Den w/ GENERACION SUICIDA and DAMAGES. The next day on Nov. 11 it's an early show, starts at 4pm at the 6th Street Haus in Long Beach w/ TERRIBLE FEELINGS (Sweden). Go to all three shows. You wont regret it!

Once I get my permanent internet back up, I'll be uploading some unreleased GENERACION SUICIDA tracks (mainly the 3 tracks that were recorded last year for the 7 inches) and I'll be uploading some RAYOS X outtakes I found on my computer (for all of you that still care). Speaking of the GS tracks, we will have 50 test presses of the single at the BELGRADO/BELLICOSE MINDS show (finally). This single has been taking a while to come, but I know a lot of work has been done to get this out the door. I'm excited to finally see it's release. We go in to the studio on Nov. 10 also, so expect to hear some previews of our next release in the coming weeks.

Stay Golden!

This Saturday in Mentone, we have this raging show!! Come celebrate DEATHCOUNT's tour kick off, plus the return of the awesome LA VOZ! Should be fun. By the way, there is no beach in Mentone... I still don't get it, haha. We also have a free show at Ferns in Long Beach next Friday. I'll upload the flyer later this week.

Man, its been a while since I posted something up on this blog. It's hard to keep up when you're a full time EVERYTHING! We've been working on the art for the single that should be out any day now on MATA LA MUSICA DISCOS. Here's a sneak peek:

It's a bit small, but you get the point, haha. We go into the studio in 2 weeks to start recording the Lp, so that's another thing to look forward to. In the meantime, there's a few shows coming up you should know about. There's DEATH COUNTS Tour Kick off show in Mentone at Robs Loko Lounge and there's a free show at Fern's in Long Beach with GENERACION SUICIDA, POLISKITZO, and FIST FIGHT ON XTC. I'll upload the flyers once I get them.

On another note, GENERACION SUICIDA will be going up to the bay in October. We'll be playing the Pink String in Oakland on Oct 5 w/ BAD COYOTES, RULETA RUSA, and PROTO REGIME and we'll be playing San Francisco on Oct 6 at the Knockout (early show, starts at 4, bands TBA). So if you're in those towns at that time, stop by and RAGE with all of us, haha.

Man, am I tired... Working 10 hour shifts with only 4 hour sleep, 5 days a week, totally rules! It's all good though, because I'll be taping my eyeball sockets open for tomorrow nights show. ADELIT@S is one of those bands that's pretty interesting, to say the least. They have a unique Mexican Folk/Anarcho Punk thing going for them when you hear them on record, but live they have a more Hardcore/Anarcho Punk sound and style. Fuck it! What's the point of trying to describe them? Just go see them play tomorrow night and you can describe it for yourself. I'm pretty sure this is going to be the most fun I've had since that time I microwaved my hamster (RIP Fluffy... You were delicious).

Shit just hit the fan! Here's a cool little bootleg Dan posted up on his Blog, Old Fast and Loud It has live sets ripped from youtube videos and includes GENERACION SUICIDA, POLISKITZO, LA VOZ, THE HELPLESS, and DESTRUYE Y HUYE. Pretty cool stuff and all of it worth a listen. You can download it from his blog or you can download it here Either way, make sure to visit his blog. It's awesome! 'Nuff said... By the way, I can't stop hearing that Sad Boys demo tape. If you haven't heard it, I'll upload it tomorrow (though I'm pretty sure it's uploaded everywhere else) along with another old tape I just can't stop listening to...

Here it is. Just as I promised, the RAYOS X discography for all you vultures, haha. As you I said last time, RAYOS X is no more. We haven't played a show in months, and I doubt we will play a final show (though never say never, as I always say). RAYOS X started in January 2009 and our first show was a backyard in south central LA. We played many shows in cities we never thought we'd play and everyone we ever met was great. Too bad all things must come to an end, but I always thought it's better to end things when they're good than to burn out... Thanks to everyone for all the good times. Thank you all for feeding us, letting us crash at your pads, and for putting up with our drunken stupidness. Here is everything we've ever officially released. There are 3 other live releases that I know of, one with D-CLONE, one at the Lynwood House, and one at San Francisco's Doomed Fest (if I find them, I'll upload them here later this week).
RAYOS X - 2009 demo Recorded in 5 hours in SABER M's garage. You can download it here.
RAYOS X - MI DESORDEN Recorded in 2010 at the Lynwood House. This was recorded at the same time as the SUFRIMIENTO Ep. Both were recorded in about 8 hours (I blame the alcohol). You can download it here. RAYOS X - SUFRIMIENTO Recorded at the same time as the MI DESORDEN Ep. Download it here. RAYOS X - SOLEDAD Our final release. Recorded at the Crash Pad in the spring of 2011. All the drums were done in one take, but the bass took a few days to get done right. This really took a long time to release. We had 50 test presses for sale during our final tour last September, but it wasn't released until about 3 weeks ago. You can download it here. So there it is. Everything we officially released. I hope you all enjoy it! Until next time, stay golden. -Tony Boi

So, the Rayos X LP is finally out. You can buy it through Mata La Musica if you want to mail order it (here is a link to their blog). It's release is just in time too, as Rayos X is officially dead. I will upload the entire Rayos X discography in about 2 weeks. To everyone that has supported us, thank you. To the rest of you, FUCK YOU! Haha. Anyways... I'm pretty sure a ton of you should know by now, but ANTISECT is coming from the UK at the end of this month. But who cares about that?!? Even better is that BI-MARKS have been added to the bill! That's waaaaayy better in my opinion!
If you've never heard BI-MARKS, just think of a faster, rawer version of ZERO BOYS and BAD BRAINS and you're almost there. Do yourself a favor and track down the Golden Years LP. It'll be one of the best 10 bucks you will ever spend. And now, it's time for one of Koopas life lessons: "Sometimes, you have to swim through the swamp, before you can walk on water"... Life lesson #23 I don't really know what it means, but it makes me think about life being short and shit... RIP RAYOS X (2009-2012)

Tonight's show is no longer at the 6TH STREET HAUS in LBC. It's now at THE SPOT in El Sereno. It also now starts at 4. Spread the word and I hope to see you all there. Last nights show, by the way, was really great. All the bands tore it up, and they only left 2 footprints on the ceiling. Sweet! I won't post up a Koopa life lesson today, since I'm in such a rush! But, I promise tomorrow a life lesson and maybe a cool band demo...

Who hurt you Joey? You have been hurt...

So I'm stuck here, bored at work. Don't really got much to do, and I'll be out soon enough, but that time ain't comin' fast enough! If you know me, you should know that I love THE RAMONES! They're the best EVER! I don't care if you think they sounded burnt out towards the end, I think they're amazing and everything they touched turns to music gold. I just saw Rock N Roll High School last night, for the first time. INSTANT CLASSIC! Why? Cuz THE RAMONES are in it!! Whoever had the idea of making a whole movie revolving a bunch of kids just day dreaming of THE RAMONES is a fucking genius! Plus, you get exploding rock and/or roll mice! Sweet! Anyways, I'm not going anywhere with this. Everyone should just be reminded to make sure to go to the CRASH PAD this Saturday and the 6TH STREET HAUS IN LBC on Sunday. Check out SYSTEMATIK on tour from Canada. Cool people, raw music (but you should know that already, right?).

My good friend Koopa (AKA Koopapa) often has little life lessons he likes to say when things look grim. You may know Koopa from KRUEL/ASPEX/FUKKR SS/HELPLESS/GENERACION SUICIDA (Dayumm Gina!!!)You should know he's a real cool guy and I'm proud to present his life lessons for all to read. I'll try to post one up with every post that I put up. Without further ado, I present to you, Koopa's life lessons:

"Things have to be covered in shit before they can grow into a beautiful flower"...Life lesson #46

Wise beyond his years? I think so...

Next weekend, SYSTEMATIK will be gracing us with their presence, not just once, but twice! First night, they'll be playing up in Boyle Heights at The Crash Pad. Should be a rad night. All the bands are awesome and it promises to be a drunk filled night. The following night, SYSTEMATIK will be playing at the 6TH STREET HAUS, in LBC. That show starts at 6:30 and is 3 bux. Totally cheap yo! I don't have the SYSTEMATIK demo or I would upload it, but take my word for it... You won't wanna miss these shows.

Till Next time. FUCK YOU!!

ARCTIC FLOWERS are coming in to town this Wednesday. They're coming down from Portland and they play some awesome Anarcho punk. A bummer they're not playing in LA, but if you have a car, this show is totally worth the trip up to Mentone. In case you've never heard of Arctic Flowers, here's they're LP. Reveries:

It's quite the gloomy day here in LA... Perfect weather to have this one spinning all day.

First up, we got a show next Saturday in West Covina (of all places). 21+ (lame), 3 bux.

at: Around the Corner
1032 Valinda Ave.
West Covina, CA 91792

People have been asking me for the lyrics for some of the GS songs. For those that want them, here you go:

Tu sombra te abandona
En tu mente te has escapado
Con los gritos te emocianas
Con la muerte a tu lado

Y tu dices...

Todo esta en mi cabeza
No lo puedo olvidar
El dia ke tu te fuiste
Dejandome en la oscuridad

Y tu dices...

Ya no regresara
Nunca volveras

Y tu dices... Adios.

Policias corruptas ke patrullan mi barrio
Y que matan a mi gente, y los matan con pasion
Oigo disparos...

Metralleta del fascista ke disparan a cuerpos humanos
Metralleta del fascista ke disparan a cuerpos humanos!

Y oigo los gritos en la distancia
Gritos de mi gente, de mi gente en dolor
eran humanos...

Mil Amores

Y te llaman la mil amores, maldita zorra
Destrosaste mi corazon
Y me dicen mis amigos, ten cuidado

A meterse a mi vida
Y yo le digo no...

Y le digo ya no hay ke hablar

I'll try to upload more if anybody wants the rest of this stuff. In the meantime, everybody go to that show in West Covina next Saturday and lets party it up!

So Generacion Suicida has just finished recording three songs, 2 for an upcoming single on Mata La Musica and one for a compilation coming out on Teenage Time Killer Zine. Here's a short preview of one song from each release. Enjoy!

Tomorrow, I'll finally upload some lyrics. This time I promise!

Stay Golden,

-Tony Boi
